On February 12, 2025 the Smith Family Foundation partnered with Trenton Thunder, Book Smiles, Faith & Families and West Ward Councilwoman Teska Frisby at the grand opening and dedication of the Elder Pearlie Smith Library sponsored by Trenton Thunder at Stokes Elementary School. The artwork and over all design concept of the library is a concept my local artist Jazmyn Jones called "No Wrong Way". Jazmyn worked with a group of youth from the school to create artwork reflecting individual creativity that adorn the walls of the library.

Thanks to Book Smiles every child in the school will receive an age appropriate book for their private home library at least 5 times per year. While Faith & Families as well and Council Woman Frisby will provide community support and programming throughout the year.
